Allu Aravind, who recently tested positive for coronavirus, has said that he is only mildly symptomatic. On Monday, the Geetha Arts supremo released a video statement to talk about the importance of receiving the vaccination against Covid-19.

"I have seen reports saying that I contracted coronavirus despite a two-dose vaccination. I have to tell you something. After the first dose of vaccination, I and two other friends had to travel. All three of us have tested positive since then. But two of us, who had received the vaccination, have got only mild symptoms. I ran a fever for three days. The third friend, who didn't get vaccinated, has been hospitalized," Allu Aravind said, urging everyone to get vaccinated without fail.

"Vaccination will ensure that your infection is mild," Aravind added.

Aravind has isolated himself at home.
