Cops nab Bigg Boss 7 winner Pallavi Prashanth

In a shocking turn of events, Pallavi Prashanth, the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7, has been arrested at his residence in Kollur village of Gajvel. The arrest comes in the wake of multiple cases filed against him, encompassing nine sections, for the tumultuous incident that unfolded at Annapurna Studios following the Bigg Boss Grand Finale.

The chaos erupted outside the venue when fans, purportedly Pallavi Prashanth’s supporters, engaged in acts of vandalism, damaging vehicles and creating mayhem. The situation escalated to the point where a suo moto case was filed against the winner and his fans. Notably, Pallavi Prashanth’s brother, Mahaveer, had already been arrested and taken to Jubilee Hills Police Station.

Earlier reports suggested that Pallavi Prashanth was in exile, and the authorities were keen on apprehending him. However, his legal representative, Raj Kumar, is set to approach Jubilee Hills PS to obtain the FIR copy and explore the possibility of securing anticipatory bail for his client.

The unruly incident unfolded immediately after the announcement of Pallavi Prashanth as the winner and Amardeep as the runner-up. Allegedly, fans vandalized vehicles and attacked buses outside Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Cars belonging to Amardeep and ex-contestants Ashwini and Geetu Royal, along with RTC buses, bore the brunt of the violence. Ashwini and Geetu subsequently filed complaints at Jubilee Hills police station.

Expressing his disapproval, TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar took to social media, tagging the Bigg Boss Telugu makers and host Nagarjuna. He condemned the damage inflicted on RTC buses and criticized the chaotic behavior carried out in the name of fandom. Cases have been registered against Pallavi Prashanth and his fans under various IPC sections based on Sajjanar’s complaint.

The incident has not only raised concerns among the show’s fans but has also led to common citizens expressing their discontent. Advocate Arun has filed a case demanding action against Bigg Boss organizers and host Nagarjuna for the alleged unruly behavior exhibited by the contestants. The aftermath of the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 finale continues to unfold, prompting legal actions and public outcry against the unfortunate turn of events.
