Cool actress on a hot streak

There is a natural poise and grace to Shriya. It is immaterial whether her last released film is a hit or a flop.

Just looking at her in the sets of NTR Jr starrer Alludu, you wouldn’t realize that her last flick (In Hindi) Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum was a disaster.

She moves around with a royal air of dignity and style.

Though her Telugu film career is on a firm footing (Nenunnanu has won her rave reviews), Shriya should be worried about the direction her Bollywood foray is headed. But ask Shriya. She oozes panache and says she is quietly confident about her next venture Shukriya opposite Aftab Shivdasani.

What is there to worry about, seems to be her general approach.

The svelte girl, who has also acted in music videos (Jagjit Singh’s Kahin Door… readily comes to mind) and several ad films, is certainly a hot number these days.

Her Tollywood films in hand are any actress’ dream-come-true. She has a film lined up with Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan and of course Arjun with Mahesh.

The thing about Shriya is she wears both success and failure the same way —elegantly, that is.
