Puli’s heroine playing an SP

The buzz is that in Pawan Kalyan-SJ Suryah’s Puli, the heroine Nikeesha Patel plays a Superintendent of Police in the film.  The heroine is a new intro and has reportedly performed tot he satisfaction of the director even in her first outing.

The film, which was shot in Mumbai and at Chennai’s Aspire Systems building, sees Pawan Kalyan heading a special ani-terrorists force, named Pulice.

Nikeesha Patel was roped in as the female lead, after much speculation about Hansika Motwani’s inclusion was seen.  It is also said that Nikhisha is Renu Desai’s buddy.

Produced by Singanamala Naidu, the expensive film includes some interesting scenes between Nikeesha and Pawan.  It’s audio release, scheduled this month, has seen a postponement yet another time, with the film’s release too put on hold.  So, it’s not definitely in February.
