Kajal Agarwal is one happy soul, what with her bagging some really good offers in the south and being the lead lady of Ajay Devghan’s upcoming Bollywood project ‘Singham.’

Kajal will be the female lead in a Telugu film, ‘The Business Man’ which has Mahesh Babu in the lead. The film is in its pre-production stages and will be written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannath. The actress has also just wrapped up her role in ‘Dhada’ where she will be seen sharing screen space with Nag Chaitnya.

In Tamil, Kajal has bagged a role opposite Suriya in K V Anand’s upcoming project ‘Maatran.’ Written by the winning combo K V Anand and Suba the film, which is in the pre-production stage, will see lead actor in five different makeovers. This project is touted to be an action film and Kajal will appear as an interpreter in this flick.

The pretty actress was recently in the news for being misinterpreted by some sections of the media which spurted controversies from some sections of the south Indian film industry. Kajal was quick to give a clarification from her side. The actress reacts to the alleged ban and says, “I will never be disrespectful to the Telugu and Tamil film industry. I have been brought up to respect my roots. I owe my acting career to them.”

Kajal asserts that she will not give up south films even if she gets more Hindi film offers, “I plan to continue with my south films simultaneously with Hindi projects. There is no question of choosing one over the other. I am working with the best talent there. Why would I give it all up?”
