Kingkong turns hero

We have seen him playing a sidekick to comedians in many a film. And now, it?s a sort of promotion for Kingkong, who will play the protagonist of ?Onnarakallan?, a bilingual to be directed by Raviraj.

To be simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam, the story revolves around two thieves- a ?full’ kallan (a complete thief) and a ?half’ kallan. No prizes for guessing the latter will be played by Kingkong.

?When the two theives are set about to rob a bungalow under the influence of a magician, the family in the palatial house takes kindly to the pint-sized thief and tries to reform him. How his life changed after that is the crux of the story,? say circles close to the director.

Produced by Abina Films, Shakila is playing a pivotal role in this movie. Music is by Lal Kannan. Attempts are on to complete the movie as soon as possible and release it by the end of this year.
