Asin to promote Kochi IPL?

These are the days when film stars closely associate themselves with cricket, especially the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Perhaps following the suit of her colleagues in Bollywood is Asin, who, if reports are to be believed, would promote the newly formed Kochi IPL team.

It is said that since the actress, who is one of the hot and happening stars of Bollywood, hails from Kerala, organisers of the Kochi team found her a right choice to make their team familiar with cricket lovers all over India.

?Following this, they approached the actress and finally convinced her to be part of the promotional events planned for the cricket team, which will take the field for the next season, in 2011,? reports added.

Meanwhile, Asin?s father Joseph Thottumkal too was quoted as saying that he did not want to comment whether his daughter was roped in or not by the cricket team, since the announcement should come from the team owners.
