AVM Productions denied reports that appeared in a few section of the press that Sun TV purchased all the rights of their forthcoming Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji.
In a press release here, M Saravanan of AVM Productions denied such reports as mere rumors. ‘We are still shooting the film and reports of the movie being sold to Sun TV are mere speculations by the media’, he said.
Sivaji, the 169th venture of AVM stable, featuring Rajinikanth and Shreya in the lead role, is being directed by Shankar while the musical scoring is provided by A R Rehman.
It may be recalled that a section of the press, recently carried reports that rights on the film Sivaji was bought by the Sun TV group for a whopping Rs 90 crores. The amount includes the rights for distribution, dubbing, audio, video, remake and satellite TV.
