‘Committee Kurrollu’ Team to Reunite – Niharika Konidela and Yadu Vamsi Join Hands Again!

The hit team behind Committee Kurrollu is all set to make a comeback! Young and talented director Yadu Vamsi, who won hearts with his refreshing and relatable storytelling in Committee Kurrollu, is reportedly collaborating once again with Niharika Konidela under the Pink Elephant Pictures banner.

According to inside reports, this new project is expected to go on floors in 2026, and discussions are currently in the advanced stage.

Released last year as a small-budget film, Committee Kurrollu became a surprise blockbuster, winning both critical acclaim and box office success. The film stood out for its uniqueness — it introduced 11 new male leads and 4 heroines to Telugu cinema. Made on a modest budget of ?9 crores, the film collected an impressive ?18.5 crores theatrically and another ?6 crores from non-theatrical rights, taking the total to a whopping ?24.5 crores.

The movie’s success story didn’t stop there. At SIIMA 2025, Niharika Konidela won the Best Debut Producer award, while Sandeep Saroj received the Best Debut Actor honor. Additionally, at the Gaddar Awards announced by the Telangana Government, the film won two prestigious accolades — Best Feature Film on National Integration, Communal Harmony, and Social Uplift of Depressed Classes, and Yadu Vamsi bagged the award for Best Debut Director.

With such achievements, expectations are sky-high for their upcoming collaboration.

Meanwhile, Pink Elephant Pictures’ Production No. 2 is already in progress, directed by Manasa Sharma, featuring Sangeet Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. The film’s story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Manasa Sharma and Mahesh Uppala, with Manyam Ramesh as the Executive Producer and Anudeep Dev composing the music.
