Hollywood actor Chris Pratt and author Katherine Schwarzenegger welcomed their first child on Monday and shared the news on social media along with a photo of the baby girl's hand. The adorable picture has gone viral since then.

The actor took to Instagram and Twitter to convey the news and further informed that the couple had named their daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' also added that he and his wife "couldn't be happier" to welcome the new addition to the family. "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed," he had written on his post. Several celebrities, including GotG star Zoe Saldana, Kate Hudson, and Karen Gillan, showered their love on the newborn. "Welcome to the world Lady Lyla! May your path be blessed with grace and joy always! we are so happy for you guys! Sending you so much Love," Zoe Saldana had mentioned in a comment.

Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of former bodybuilder and Golden Globe winner Arnold Schwarzenegger, got engaged to Chris Pratt in January 2019 less than a year after they started dating. The couple got married on June 8, 2019 in Montecito, California. Chris Pratt is best known for his roles in the famous Hollywood movies, Jurassic World, the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, and Avengers: Infinity War.
