Today, Vikram officially announced that "Thangalaan" has crossed the 100-crore mark at the worldwide box office, achieved solely through its Tamil and Telugu releases. This milestone was shared alongside a new promotional poster, which is also gaining traction online. The film is set to release in North India today, which could potentially boost its box office earnings further. "Thangalaan" is a joint production by Studio Green and Neelam Productions.

The film stars Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Harikrishnan, Preethy Karan, Anbudan Arjun, and others. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash, with cinematography by Kishor Kumar and editing by Selva RK.
