Censor details and release plan of Chiyaan Vikram & Dhruv’s Mahaan revealed!

Chiyaan Vikram and Dhruv Vikram starrer ‘Mahaan’ is one of the most expected films of 2022. The real-life father and son duo will be locking horns with each other in this upcoming film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Touted to be an action thriller, it is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.

The film’s shooting has been completely wrapped up and post-production works are in the final stages. The first look teasers and a single track were released earlier. Now, the latest hot news is that Mahaan has passed the censor and got certified ‘UA’ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The teaser and trailer will be launched soon.

Also, we had already updated you that the movie will skip cinema halls for a digital release. Now, it is being reported that the rights of Mahaan was grabbed by Amazon Prime Vidoe for a record price and it will have a world premiere by the third week of January 2022. The release date will be officially announced by the makers more soon than expected.

Reportedly, Dhruv is said to be playing the role of ‘Dada’, a police officer while Vikram plays the role of a gang leader ‘Mahaan’. Santhosh Narayanan is scoring music for the film and Shreyaas Krishna wields the lens. Mahaan also stars Simran, Vani Bhojan, Bobby Simha and Sananth in the major roles.
