Is the ‘Chiyaan 61’ team planning a surprise treat for Vikram fans on Diwali?

Chiyaan Vikram proved his acting versatility again this year with three different roles – a liquor baron with regrets about his estranged family in ‘Mahaan, troubled twins in ‘Cobra’ and a heartbroken, mad conqueror in ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’.

Now, the actor has moved to his next project with Pa Ranjith. Tentatively called ‘Chiyaan 61’, the film’s shooting commenced last week in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Character actor Pasupathi and Malayalam actress Parvathy joined the star cast, recently. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that a glimpse of Chiyaan 61 will be unveiled ahead of Diwali.

As per the sources, the team is planning to launch a glimpse video and an official announcement regarding the same is expected soon. Produced by Studio Green, GV Prakash Kumar is taking care of the musical score. Notably, GV Prakash took to his social media page and wrote, “#chiyaan61 @beemji @StudioGreen2 …. Update very very soon” (sic).
