As many as 20 Indian soldiers were martyred while defending India against China on June 15 at Eastern Ladakh. Taking to Twitter, Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh have saluted the bravehearts.

"My heart goes out to the bereaved families of 20 brave Indian soldiers incl.Telugu boy Col.Bikkumalla Santhosh babu. Despite the tragic loss, his parents call it a privilege to make this supreme sacrifice for our nation. Salute their bravery & pray for strength to the families," wrote the 'Sye Raa' and 'Acharya' actor.

'Narappa' actor Venkatesh tweeted, "We as a nation salute the martyred Soldiers for their ultimate sacrifice by serving the nation and protecting us. My heartfelt gratitude, condolences and prayers to the bereaved families. Jai Hind!"

Earlier, Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah Bhatia and others tweeted in praise of the martyrs' sacrifice.
