Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited film #Mega157, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has officially entered its second schedule. After successfully completing the first schedule in Hyderabad — which featured classic Chiru-style comedy and charm — the team has now moved to the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie for a 10-day shoot starting today.
The film, produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens in association with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments and presented by Smt. Archana, stars Nayanthara as the female lead. This marks her third collaboration with Chiranjeevi following Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.
To celebrate the beginning of the Mussoorie schedule, the team unveiled a heartwarming video showing Chiranjeevi seated on a table in a school ground, surrounded by schoolchildren. His trademark style — thumbs up, arms wide open, sunglasses on — instantly won hearts, amplified by Bheems Ceciroleo’s soul-stirring musical score.
The second schedule will include key sequences featuring Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, VTV Ganesh, and others, promising a mix of entertainment, emotion, and drama that fans expect from an Anil Ravipudi film.
Backing the vision is a top-notch technical team. Sameer Reddy handles cinematography, ensuring the visuals match the grandeur of the narrative, while Bheems Ceciroleo scores the music, continuing his successful collaboration with Ravipudi. Tammiraju takes care of crisp editing, AS Prakash leads art direction with his signature detailing, and the story is co-written by S. Krishna and G. Adi Narayana, with Krishna also serving as the executive producer.
Slated for a Sankranthi 2026 release, Mega157 is shaping up to be a festive treat with a perfect blend of mass appeal and family emotion.
