Chinmayi has been one of the popular singers of the film industry, and besides singing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and many other languages, Chinmayi is also a dubbing artist and has dubbed for many actresses in films like Trisha, Samantha and many others.
Two years back, Chinmayi was banned from dubbing union by the then president of the dubbing union, actor Radharavi, and Chinmayi has often voiced out against Radharavi’s speeches and activities on Twitter. Now Chinmayi has decided to take on Radharavi directly.
Chinmayi will be contesting the dubbing union elections for the role of president, and has filed her nomination for the same, opposing the current president Radharavi. On the professional front, Chinmayi has dubbed for Samantha in Jaanu, the Telugu remake of 96 and has also sung songs in the movie.
