Chennai Airport on high alert following bomb threat

With just several hours to the arrival of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Defence Minister Nirmala Seetharaman to Chennai, the city’s airport officals were put on high alert following a bomb threat call to an airline. The threat call was made to an airline which was operating flights from Chennai to Hyderabad.

However, security measures have been taken care of by officials to avert any incident. It is also worth mentioning here that twenty flights ahve been scheduled between Chennai and Hyderabad throughout the day.
