The mobile data tariff has been a thing of war between various telecom companies ever since Jio entered the market. With Airtel, Vodafone and Idea already chipping in with cheap plans, Government owned BSNL has launched a new scheme that offers 1GB of data for a month and free voice calling within the same network. The plan is set at Rs.249 making it one of the cheapest in the market.
The offer however is set only till October 25 coinciding with the festive season as mentioned in the site. There is also another offer from BSNL for Rs.298 which has unlimited data services with 1GB cap per day and also free outgoing voice calls to any network across India. With TRAI already cutting mobile call connection charges, the tariff is expected to further reduce in the coming months.
