Following the blockbuster success of Court – State Vs. A Nobody, Natural Star Nani’s Unanimous Productions is gearing up to entertain audiences with another family entertainer, Alias Rukmini. Starring Nithiin in the lead role, the film is directed by Dhandoraa fame Murali Kanth Devasoth and produced by Deepti Ganta. Blending romance, humour and an engaging storyline, the film promises a refreshing cinematic experience.
The makers have now unveiled a new promotional video introducing Nithiin as Krishna in a completely fresh avatar. Offering a glimpse into Krishna’s life before Rukmini enters his world, the video introduces his younger days, dreams and distinctive personality.
The video begins with director Murali Kanth Devasoth interacting with Afia Syed, who plays Rukmini, about Krishna’s younger days. Nithiin then makes an impressive entry in a young and charming look. The actor appears nearly a decade younger, perfectly capturing the innocence, carefree attitude and youthful energy of his character. His transformation brings a refreshing new dimension to his on-screen presence. Afia Syed is also visibly surprised by his youthful appearance.
Sporting a fresh hairstyle and a thin moustache, Nithiin looks charming as young Krishna. Dressed in a mustard-yellow casual T-shirt, he is seen sitting at a desk with a pen in his hand, seemingly lost in thought. His innocent expressions, simple styling and natural body language add to the character’s appeal.
The pairing of Nithiin and Afia Syed is expected to be one of the major highlights of the film, with their characters bringing a special romantic flavour to the narrative.
The musical promotions of Alias Rukmini have already begun with the release of the first single, ‘Rukku Rukku Rukmini’. Composed by Vijay Bulganin, the melodious track beautifully captures Krishna’s love for Rukmini and has emerged as a chartbuster.
The technical team includes Jomon T. John ISC as cinematographer, Vijay Bulganin as music director, Avinash Kolla as production designer and Srujana Adusumilli as editor.
With Nithiin’s strikingly youthful transformation in the latest promotional video, curiosity surrounding Alias Rukmini has grown further. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on December 4.
