Popular Indian producer tests positive for coronavirus

Bollywood producer Karim Morani, who has bankrolled several films, including Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One, Diwali, and Chennai Express has tested positive for COVID-19. This comes a day after two of his daughters were diagnosed with the virus.
Karim's brother reportedly stated, "Yes, we have been anticipating this as he was with his daughters. Karim has tested positive of coronavirus. He has been shifted to Nanavati Hospital." Karim's daughter Shaza had returned from Sri Lanka in the first week of March and did not show any symptoms. Zoa, who had returned from Rajasthan around mid-March, tested positive for coronavirus. Karim Morani had earlier stated, "Shaza had no symptoms but has tested positive. Zoa, my other daughter, has a few symptoms so we got both of them tested. Both have been admitted to Nanavati hospital. They are in isolation and under observation."
As of April 8, the number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in India has crossed 5660. Tamil Nadu has reported 738 cases so far.
