Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' directed by Atlee is slated for release on Diwali and from the first look posters it has been revealed that he is playing dual roles as father and son. The general perception among fans is that there will be political dialogues spoken by Vijay like in his previous movies 'Mersal' and 'Sarkar'.

Ramanagiri Vaasan who is penning the dialogues for 'Bigil' has stated in a recent interview that this is his third film with Vijay and Atlee after 'Theri' and 'Mersal' and is much bigger in scale than the other two. He has however cleared the air that there are no politically targeted dialogues for Vijay in the movie but punch lines that justify the story will drive fans to ecstasy.

'Bigil' produced by AGS Entertainment with A.R. Rahman's music score has the ensemble cast of Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Indhuja, Yogi Babu and Vivek.
