Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has been hosting ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ for all the five seasons so far. His style and swag and unique handling of the contestants have won millions of fans that they cannot imagine anyone else in his place.
Unfortunately on Monday, Kamal revealed that after his return from his US visit he experienced mild fever and cough and when tested it turned out to COVID 19 infection. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Porur, Chennai and the management has officially stated that his condition is stable.
Since it could take atleast two to three weeks for Kamal to recover he will not be able to do hosting duties for ‘Bigg Boss 5’. Sources close to the television channel has revealed that the most natural and likely replacement for the thespian is his own daughter Shruti Haasan.
The source pointed out that when Nagarjuna the host of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu’ had to take a break for a couple of episodes due to his film commitments, his then daughter in law Samantha took over temporarily. It is said that the producers have initiated talks with Shruti and whether she accepts or not will become official in a couple of days.
