Bharathiraja turns villain after 15 years

Bharathiraja has shared in many interviews that he came to Chennai to become an actor but instead went on to make a career as one of the most respected directors in Indian cinema.  In 2004 Mani Ratnam gave Bharathiraja the role of the main antogonist opposite Suriya in ‘Aytha Ezhuthu’ which garnered huge praise.

Now after fifteen years Bharathiraja is once again acting as the villain in a new movie titled ‘Rocky’.  Vasanth Ravi who made an impression debut in ‘Taramani’ is playing the lead.  The film is directed by Matheshwaran with music score by Darbukka Shiva and produced by C.A. Manojkumar under the banner RA Studios.
