Director Nelson who has been super busy with the shooting of 'Beast' has not shared much about the film even during the promotions for his recent blockbuster hit 'Doctor' starring Sivakarthikeyan. For the very first time Nelson has responded to the question of whether his current film 'Beast' is similar to his other films 'Kolamavu Kokila' and 'Doctor' which belong to the dark comedy genre.

Nelson has stated that 'Beast' was written with Thalapathy Vijay's stature as a huge star in mind and will contain all the elements necessary for his films with a fresh approach in the screenplay. He has also revealed that there is no question of changing anything in the script for Vijay but rather it is only possible to make the subject with him. The focus according to the sensational director is to give something new for Vijay in his career and for himself as well. What this means for Vijay fans is that the much awaited film will come as a huge surprise to give a brand new experience to them.

'Beast' has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady opposite Thalapathy Vijay and stars Selvaragavan, Yogibabu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh and Aparna Das among others. Anirudh is composing the music and the Sun Pictures produced mega film is expected to release in Summer 2022.
