"Meaner…Leaner…Stronger…Can you feel the power…terror…fire.." The trailer for 'Beast' can't have a better intro. 'Beast', starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead, will hit the screens on April 13. Its trailer was released a while ago.

The lead man, named Veeraraghavan, is a notorious RAW agent who is thrown into a precarious situation. A mall in Chennai gets hijacked by terrorists. The twist is that the hero, who is a dangerous spy himself, is incidentally in the same mall. "I am not a politician, I am a soldier," lands perfectly.

From outrageous action episodes to curious lines, the trailer has them all. Actor-filmmaker Selvaraghavan is seen as an officer who is in charge of negotiating with the hijackers.

Director Nelson has ensured that his kind of humour is intact. Anirudh's BGM is top-notch, taking the impact of the trailer to the next level. Manoj Paramahamsa's visuals are superb.

Starring the gorgeous Pooja Hegde as the heroine, the film also features Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, Redin Kingsley, Yogi Babu, Sathish Krishnan and VTV Ganesh in prominent roles.

This Sun Pictures product, whose song 'Arabic Kuthu' is a chartbuster, is one of the biggest releases of the year.
