Director SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' is currently rocking film festivals and award ceremonies all over the globe. Meanwhile, the master filmmaker is gearing up to join the Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu for his next project. We already broke to you that it will be a jungle action-adventure movie.
The untitled film will be written by Rajamouli's father KV Vijayendra Prasad. In a recent interview, the renowned screenwriter confirmed that Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's project is an adventure flick inspired by a real incident. He added that the project will go on the floors by next year. Mahesh Babu in an earlier interaction broke that his role will be physically demanding.
When KV Vijayendra Prasad was asked if there will be sequels of this upcoming movie in the future, he said, “Ofcourse. Sequels will follow.” He revealed that while the story in these sequels will change, the central characters will remain the same. It is now confirmed that Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli's film will be the start of an Indiana Jones-style franchise in Indian cinema.
Prasad had said that Mahesh Babu is a very intense actor. “If you see his action scenes, he is very intense and that’s a very good thing for any writer,” added the veteran. He also added that this movie is a dream project for Rajamouli as he always wanted to make a forest adventure film.
