One of the most-awaited Hindi remakes of the Thalapathy Vijay blockbuster "Theri," produced by Atlee, was making enough noise from the word 'go.' The movie stars Keerthy Suresh and Varun Dhawan, but their flick was set to release on May 31, though it might be postponed.
The year 2016 saw the release of the film "Theri" by director Atlee, who could, however, make it a super hit with huge commercial success. Since then, adaptation rumors have been floating in the air. Four years later, the Hindi version was ready for production. Recently, the cast, consisting of Atlee, Priya Atlee, Keerthy Suresh, and Varun Dhawan, gathered for the film's pooja.
Conversely, the Hindi version of "Theri" features Varun Dhawan reprising Vijay's role, Keerthy Suresh taking on Samantha's role, and Wamika Gabbi replacing Amy Jackson. Meanwhile, the shoot had wrapped up quite briskly over the last few months, and as a result, expectations are only increasing for this film.
But the latest buzz indicates that the movie will be pushed away until June or July. We expect to announce the exact movie date soon, so fans of the remake will need to wait for further news.
