Atlee’s dream project and title of his next after ‘Mersal’

Atlee from the Shankar school has made a mark as sucesfull commercial director giving two super hits ‘Raja Rani’ and ‘Theri’.  Now all eyes are on the third film in his career and second film with Vijay, ‘Mersal’ which is releasing as a grand Diwali treat on the 18th of October.

Atlee in a press interaction has stated that filming the novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ by Kalki is one of his dream projects which he hopes will materialize if the right time and the appropriate cast are available.  Further it has also been reported widely that Atlee has registerd the title ‘Aalaporaan Tamizhan’ for his next movie.  The title is the starting lines of the super hit song from ‘Mersal’ but it is too early to deduce if this film will also have Vijay in the lead.
