The trailer of Ashok Selvan-Priya Anand starrer 'Kootathil Oruthan' has created a great buzz for the film directed by T.J.Gnanavel who was formerly a popular journalist and screenwriter. The film produced by S.R.Prabhu and S.R.Prakash Babu was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on July 14, 2017.

Now it has been officially confirmed that 'Kootathil Oruthan' will be hitting the screens on the date announced earlier. The posters carrying the release date have been published.

'Kootathil Oruthan' is a story about average middle bench students and how they become achievers in life. The supporting cast of the film includes Samuthirakani, Nassar, Bala Saravanan, Anupama Kumar, John Vijay and others. Nivas.K.Prasanna has provided the music score.
