As ‘SLNE’ turns 50, makers say it broke-even in just 5 days

With ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ completing 50 days, Mahesh Babu has given a “BIGGG hug to my director Anil Ravipudi and my producer Anil Sunkara for giving me this BLOCKBUSTER.”  Taking to Twitter, the superstar gleefully wrote, “Thanks to my entire team, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible!”

“I am extremely overwhelmed by the incredible response the film has received.  Thanking all my fans for their invaluable support.  Truly a magical moment to cherish,” Mahesh added.

Earlier in the day, Anil said that a few dialogues from the movie have “reverberated across the Telugu States. Your wholehearted laughs made sure we enjoyed the box office storm.”

The director added, “You wholeheartedly appreciated many thought-provoking dialogues like this. You made sure the movie breaks-even in 5 days and the distributors make a rupee for every rupee invested. You made sure that my producer enjoys handsome profits and the hero who kept immense faith in me hugged me with pride.”
