Director Ram's 'Taramani' is being showered with positive reviews upon release. The film released after being in the making for around four years and it is going to emerge as the surprise super hit of the year.

As far as Chennai is concerned, 'Taramani' released in 12 theaters and it has had 142 shows screened in the first three days. Due to the overwhelming positive reviews and word of mouth the special morning shows were screened for the film which does not have any star value except Andrea who is not a star heroine but has a good name as a performer. The film ran with packed houses on all the three days.

The film has acquired a tremendous 90% occupancy on an average in its first three days and with that. 'Taramani' has collected Rs.38,25,718.

The box office trade sources feel that this is a Very Good Opening and the film is expected to have a fantastic run in the coming days as everyone who have watched the film are raving about it.
