We all know that Amala Paul is acting in the lead role 'Amma Kanakku' produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films. The film is the Tamil remake of the Hindi flick 'Nil Battey Sannata' and Ashwini Iyer, who directed the original has directed the Tamil version as well.

Now it has come to light that Amala Paul has taken a bold decision for this film. She has acted as the mother of a 13 year old girl in this film. Speaking about her role in a recent interview to a leading English newspaper the 'Myna' actress has said this:

Dhanush wanted her to come to his office and watch a film. She watched the film in and felt that it would be great if she gets to play the mother's role in the remake. Dhanush said he wanted her to play the role and she instantly gave my nod.

The shooting of 'Amma Kanakku' has been completed last month. Veteran actress Revathy and Samuthirakani are playing importance role in this flick which will have Isaignani Ilaiyaraja's musical score.
