The Nampally court has issued bail to Icon Star Allu Arjun regarding the Sandhya theatre stampede case. Chikkadapally police registered a case against Allu Arjun and arrested him in the stampede at Sandhya Theater during Pushpa 2's premiere show. The police took him to jail after the Nampally court remanded him.
Allu Arjun was released after the High Court granted interim bail. After the remand imposed by the Nampally court ended, he attended the hearing virtually. On the same day, his lawyers filed a regular bail petition. The Nampally court granted bail to Allu Arjun, giving him complete relief.
After hearing Allu Arjun's lawyer's arguments, the court granted him bail. The lawyer argued that BNS Act 105 does not apply to Allu Arjun and that he was not directly or indirectly responsible for the Sandhya Theater stampede. The lawyer explained to the court that the area where the incident took place was 30 meters away from the area where Allu Arjun had come.
However, the public prosecutor, on behalf of the police, argued that the scuffle and stampede occurred because of Allu Arjun's arrival. PP said that this incident would not have happened if Allu Arjun had not arrived. PP argued that Allu Arjun is a person of influence. Granting him bail could affect the case investigation. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the Nampally court bench granted bail to Allu Arjun. The bail was granted on a surety of Rs. 50 thousand and two sureties.
