Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have made the headlines numerous times over their relationship after the duo publicly declared their love for one another. While 2021 saw a number of Bollywood celebrities getting hitched, rumours were rife that Ranbir and Alia were planning to get married by the end of the year as well.

In an interview ahead of the release of her film Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia was asked about her marriage plans with Ranbir. In response to it, Alia claimed that people began speculating as a lot of other celebrities were getting married at the time. “There is no denying that there is a lot of love there and I think he is one of the most fascinating people I have in my life in terms of the way I respect him, the love I have for him, the support he is to me, the kind of person he is. There is a lot to love and I am sure he has great things to say about me as well,” she was quoted as saying by a news agency.

Further talking about her future plans, Alia added, “But all shall happen in due time and I promise you…or maybe I won’t, it’s too soon…that when I am getting married, the world will know.” Alia and Ranbir will be sharing screen space in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film Brahmastra, which is set to release on September 9 this year.
