If his friends or relatives or someone goes to him and offers to join his party, the one question he asks them is why they want to join the party. 'Will you expect anything if I become the CM?' he asks. He doesn't want me to looks like a member of one particular camp in the film industry. He likes that I am a thorough family man who loves my wife and kids. I keep his photo in my wallet. He never asks me about joining his party. I have never discussed politics with him," Ali replied.
Ali revealed that he would prefer MLA ticket from Guntur One Town from the party he joins ahead of the 2019 Assembly elections. "My second preference would be Guntur Two Town," he said.
