On Sunday, a media report claimed that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar had booked a special chartered flight to ensure the travel of his sister and her "two kids". The 'Housefull-4' and 'Good Newzz' actor took to Twitter to not only deny the news but also to say that will be initiating legal action against the media houses spreading the falsehood.
"This news about me booking a chartered flight for my sister and her two kids is FAKE from start to end. She has not travelled anywhere since the lockdown and she has only one child! Contemplating legal action. Enough of putting up with false, concocted reports!" the 'Gold' actor said.
Akshay awaits the release of 'Sooryavanshi', which got postponed in March. There are rumours that his film 'Laxmi Bomb' has been sold to an OTT platform for a whopping Rs 125 Cr.
Earlier on Monday, Akshay condoled the demise of 'Dabangg' music director Wajid Khan. "Shocked and saddened to hear about the untimely demise of #WajidKhan, talented and ever-smiling...gone too soon. May God give strength to his family in this difficult time," he wrote.
