Akshay Kumar is one of the most expensive actors in Bollywood. A few years ago Akshay Kumar increased his remuneration to Rs 99 crores. Due to this, his net worth started increasing by 15 to 20 per cent every year. But now, after delivering continuous flop movies, it looks like the 2.0 actor is thinking of reducing his pay.

Now, if the latest reports are to be believed, Bachchhan Paandey’s disastrous run has affected Akshay Kumar a lot and he has decided to take a pay cut for his upcoming projects. For films like Selfiee, Soorarai Pottru remake, Akki is expected to take a pay cut which might take his salary below the 100 crore mark.

Earlier when the report said that Akshay had agreed to reduce his fees by ₹30 crores for his spy thriller movie Bell Bottom, which he filmed in Scotland last year. Akshay Kumar rubbished the rumours and call the report 'fake'. Quote-tweeting the original post, he wrote, "What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like!"

On the work front, Akshay is currently working on the Hindi remake of the National award-winning movie Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya under his home banner 2D productions.
