Ajith's 60th film 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor was released on February 24th and is said to have grossed over Rs 200 crores. Already the set work for his next 'AK61' is underway at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad and in all likelihood the shooting will start on March 18th. The film is also directed by Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.

Meanwhile we broke the news first that 'AK62' is also locked and will be directed by Vignesh Shivan with Nayanthara as the heroine, Anirudh scoring the music and produced by Lyca Productions. Now things are getting even more hot as it is reported that the official announcement of the project will be made tomorrow, Thursday the 17th of March.

Usually Ajith is known for moving to his next project only after the completion of the current one and even avoids listening to scripts. But the big surprise this time is that 'AK62' will be announced even before the start of the shooting of 'AK61' and thats going to rock the social media platforms if it turns out as reported.
