The dynamic combo of Ajith Kumar - H Vinoth - Boney Kapoor has teamed up for the third time for the Ultimate Star's 61st film. Tentatively titled 'AK61', the upcoming movie is touted to be a heist thriller built around a bank robbery. It is common knowledge that the makers have been shooting in Hyderabad for a while now.
Now, we have gathered some red hot updates about the film for you. The filming is progressing at a brisk pace and the team has erected a new grand set. According to the sources, almost 80% of the shoot is over for 'AK61'. The next schedule will take place at Pune and the further leg will move to Chennai. They are planning to wrap up the shoot by August.
As per the latest reports, 'AK 61' is based on a real-life bank robbery incident. It is worth mentioning that H Vinoth's previous works 'Sathuranga Vettai' and 'Theeran Athigaram Ondru' drew heavy inspiration from true stories. It is also being said that the film won't have any songs but it will feature 2 theme tracks as background score.
Manju Warrier, Veera, John Kokken, and Mahanadhi Shankar are also playing crucial roles in the Ajith starrer 'AK61'. Nirav Shah is handling the cinematography while the music director isn't officially revealed yet. Sources say that the makers are aiming for a Diwali release for the movie and an official confirmation is awaited.
