Ajith carries his dad’s body into the crematorium as Shalini consoles mother in law

Ajith Kumar’s father passed away today and his body was cremated at the Besant Nagar crematorium at around 12 pm.  A devastated Ajith along with his relatives carried the body of his dad P. Subramaniam into the crematorium.  Shalini Ajith Kumar on the other hand was taking care of mother in law Mohini and was constantly on her side.

P. Subramaniam sufferred a stroke in 2019, and his movements have been restricted for the past four years.  According to the family statement the 85 year old passed away in his sleep at early morning on March 24th.

P. Subramaniam is survived by his wife Mohini, sons Anup Kumar, Ajith Kumar and Anil Kumar and their families.  He is said to have given his sons a lot of freedom to pursue their dreams and each one is now leaders in their respective fields of investment, cinema and business.
