Bollywood’s big-ticket war drama Border 2, led by Sunny Deol, has registered a slight slowdown at the box office after a thunderous start. The film, which enjoyed the boost of a strong weekend and the Republic Day holiday, had earlier crossed the ₹200 crore nett milestone within five days of its theatrical run.
However, the momentum softened on Day 6, with the film collecting ₹15.04 crore nett, taking its total India nett collections to ₹231.83 crore. Trade circles expect a further marginal dip in the coming days, and it remains to be seen how much more the film can add during the weekdays.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features an ensemble cast with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in prominent roles alongside Sunny Deol.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. With its solid opening week numbers already on the board, Border 2 continues to remain a major box office success, even as it settles into its post-holiday pace.
