Shruti Haasan Joins Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara; First Look Unveiled

Versatile star Dulquer Salmaan, riding high on consecutive blockbusters and growing Pan-India appeal, is gearing up for another compelling drama titled Aakasamlo Oka Tara. The film is directed by Pavan Sadineni, known for his inventive narratives and distinctive visual sensibility. Presented by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema, the project is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam. Newcomer Satvika Veeravalli plays the female lead opposite Dulquer, and the promos released so far have significantly raised expectations.

Adding to the buzz, the makers have announced a major casting update: Shruti Haasan has come on board for a pivotal role. Coinciding with her birthday, the team unveiled her striking first look. Shruti appears in a raw, intense avatar—sporting glasses and a composed, downward gaze that conveys quiet resolve. The cigarette and curling smoke lend a gritty edge, hinting at emotional complexity and unspoken layers within her character.

According to the makers, Shruti Haasan’s role is set to be a decisive force in the film’s narrative, with her entry shifting the story into a new phase and adding substantial weight to the drama.

On the technical front, Aakasamlo Oka Tara boasts a strong crew. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography is handled by Sujith Sarang, and production design is overseen by Shwetha Sabu Cyril.

Currently in the final stages of production, the film is gearing up for a Pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam in Summer 2026, positioning it as one of the most anticipated dramas on the horizon.
