One of Indian cinema’s most eagerly awaited projects, Varanasi, is steadily building momentum. The film marks the first-ever collaboration between visionary filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli and Superstar Mahesh Babu, raising expectations to unprecedented levels. The ambitious venture also features Priyanka Chopra as the female lead, with Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role.

Fresh speculation has erupted after a series of film-related hoardings reportedly appeared in the holy city of Varanasi. While the posters intriguingly avoid mentioning the film’s title, director, or production banner, they prominently display a theatrical release date—April 7, 2027.
