Ajith Kumar after shooting for major portions of his new movie 'AK 61' embarked on an European tour on bike and photos of him pursuing his passion have gone viral on the internet. He is expected to return home in a few weeks time after which he will complete the remaining scenes of the action adventure film.
'AK 61' is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor who are working for the third consecutive time with Ajith Kumar after 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and 'Valimai'. Boney Kapoor had earlier announced that efforts are on for releasing the biggie on Diwali 2022. However it looks like there is going to be a change of plans.
Already, Sivakarthikeyan's 'Prince' has officially locked the Diwali festival date while producers of Karthi's 'Sardar' and Jayam Ravi-Nayanthara's 'Iraivan' are also eyeing the slot. Industry insiders predict that 'AK 61' has extensive post production works and may not be ready by that time and hence the other producers are pushing their projets.
Unconfirmed sources say that 'AK 61' also starring Manju Warrier and Samuthirakani will hit the screens on December 8th this year. Though Ajith fans will surely be disappointed if this happens they also know the trick of turning any Ajith movie release date a festival by itself. Stay tuned for the official confirmation.
