‘Ahimsa’ Trailer: A love story that taps into the Teja school

Ahimsa’s trailer was released today and it makes the right noises. Marking the debut of actor Abhiram Daggubati, the film involves a love story between a ‘bava’ and a ‘maradalu’. 

There is also a legal battle wherein a tough lawyer played by ‘Jayam’ fame Sadha does a ‘sawaal’ against a privileged rival. It is as if she is compensating for her onscreen absence by playing the upright character with gumption.

Produced by P Kiran of Anandi Art Creations, the film has the lead man in love with his crush (played by Geethika). The trailer’s initial portions hint at non-stop heavy-duty drama and action. When the lead pair is shown, the mood becomes light. It once again picks up the pace when the male lead sheds his old ways and embraces the path of blood-letting Dharma. Thanks to this turn, BV Ramana and Real Sathish have got some real job of executing action from behind the camera. 

Rajat Bedi has a key role. Ravi Kale, Kamal Kamaraju, Manoj Tiger, Kalpalatha and Devi Prasad have played different roles. RP Patnaik’s music is going to remind us of his vintage style, we hope 

‘Ahimsa’ has cinematography by Sameer Reddy. With the dialogues penned by Anil Achugatla and lyrics written by Chandrabose, the film has art direction done by Supriya.
