It seems one superstar after another superstar is determined to spread fake news with genuine intentions.  On Saturday, Pawan Kalyan shared a stupid piece of information that the 14-hour Janata Curfew will extinguish Coronavirus in India.  A similar view was repeated by Superstar Rajinikanth in a video message.  The latter's video was removed by Twitter after mass reporting by alert Twitter users.

On Monday, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan peddled a ridiculous WhatsApp forward about the clapping and clanging of bells at 5pm on Sunday killed Coronavirus strains!  "AN OPINION GIVEN: 5 pm; 22nd Mar, 'amavasya', darkest day of the month; virus, bacteria evil force at max potential & power! Clapping shankh vibrations reduce/ destroy virus potency. Moon passing to new 'nakshatra' Revati. Cumulative vibration betters blood circulation," Big B said on Twitter.

Needless to say, this is pseudo-science at its worst.  Such false assurances induce recklessness among the gullible public.  Twitter is expected to purge out the magical solution that Amitabh has ignorantly promoted.
