After ‘KGF 2’ teaser drops, fans trend ‘RRR Movie’

The teaser of ‘KGF 2’ dropped Thursday night in an unexpected way. It was released 13 hours prior to the schedule because some miscreant had played mischief and leaked the teaser online. Hombale Films didn’t want the leaked version to play spoilsport. So, they released the official teaser, much to the glee of the fans of the KGF franchise. In terms of views, the teaser is on a rampage. 

And, hours later, the fans of SS Rajamouli and ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’ took to Twitter to trend #RRRMovie. This is mainly also because the period drama, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, would have hit the screens today (January 8) had there been no coronavirus pandemic. 

Fanboys are badly missing ‘RRR’, whose precise release date is yet to be announced. While there is big hope that ‘KGF 2’ will release in theatres in April or May, with ‘RRR’, nothing has been assured. It’s hoped by fans and industry trade circles that the film will come out for Dasara. By then, most of us will hopefully have got vaccinated and theatres will be running at 100% capacity (and at 110% capacity for majestic films like ‘RRR’).

For now, the excited ones among the fanboys are content hoping that the “mass elevations” in ‘RRR’ will be bigger than that in ‘KGF 2’.
