The teaser of Jayam Ravi's new movie 'Adanga Maru' has landed as an Independence Day special and it seems to be an all out action packed cop story that takes a different path. In the very beginning Sampath, apparently playing a senior cop advices Jayam Ravi's character to run on the middle path or pay the price. The same is echoed by others as well like Mime Gopi's character for example.

The subsequent action shows that Jayam Ravi's character chooses to side with the people rather tow the line of his superiors to justify the title 'Adanga Maru'. The little over one minute cut has a lot of action happening with traces of the Marina revolution and people's protests elsewhere. Debutante director Karthik Kandavel has obviously chosen a subject close to the current situations in Tamil Nadu and the high class production values and technically sound frames suggest a cerebral action thriller.

'Adanga Maru' is produced by Home Movie Makers with music by Sam CS, Sathyan Suriyan handling the camera and Ruben the editing. Jayam Ravi, Raashi Khanna, Sampath and Mime Gopi among others form the main cast. The film is expected to release in the coming months.
