Vanitha Vijayakumar the eldest daughter of actors Vijayakumar and the late Manjula Vijayakumar made her acting debut as a teenager in the 1995 movie 'Chandralekha' in which she was paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay. She did only a few films after that and then got married and quit the industry.

After more than two decades Vanitha came back into the entertainment industry by participating in 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan. Post that she is pretty busy as the judge of 'KPY' and other shows apart from hosting her own YouTube channel.

Now after twenty-five years Vanitha is all set to play the heroine in a female-centric film directed by Adam Dasan who earlier made 'Paambu Sattai' starring Bobby Simha and Keerthy Suresh. Karunakaran is also on board for a major role and the rest of the cast and crew details will be revealed soon.
