It is quite common for leading actresses to think twice even when it comes to playing mother to kindergarten children. Now the news has come that the most wanted actress Trisha has agreed to play mother to a 39-year-old actor who is just a year younger to her.
It is well known that evergreen actress Trisha has made a solid comeback in recent times in films such as '96', 'Ponniyin Selvan' and 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'. And to top it all she has reunited with Thalapathy Vijay in Lokesh Kanagaraj's much anticipated 'Leo', and is in talks to pair up with Ajith in 'Vidaamuyarchi'.
Trisha has also signed a couple of Telugu films and one among them is the remake of the blockbuster hit 'Bro Daddy' directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Chiranjeevi will be playing the charming character played by Mohan Lal in the original while Trisha will be playing his wife replacing Meena in the original.
Prithviraj himself portrayed the son of Mohan Lal in 'Bro Daddy' and in Telugu its going to be Sharwanand with Sreeleela as his love interest. According to the script Trisha will be playing mother to Sharwanand who is 39 and just a year younger to the forty year old Tamil actress.
'Bro Daddy' deals with the comedy that arises in a household where the mother in law (Trisha) and the daughter in law (Sreeleela) become pregnant at the same time. Interesting story with such big stars and we should have a Tamil version too. Lets wait and see.
